Quality
Assurance

HF PCB  PRO have obtained certification including clients from the US and Canada and IPC requirements are very familiar to all of them. We have different standard management systems correlated to the relevant different industries, like Automotive IATF16949, Aeronautics AS9100, Medical ISO13485, Communication TL9000, and Health OHSAS18001. Our factory has acquired ISO 9001, and ISO14001.

5S management system and Lean and Six Sigma quality system are adopted.

Inspection of products is strictly conducted in compliance with internationally recognized workmanship standards(IPC-600G class 2 and IPC-6012B class 2 standard). Also can completely meet IPC class 3 according to customer product requirements.

INSPECTION ITEMS

How can we guarantee the quality of the printed circuit board(PCB) we manufacture? Basically, we use the following measures and processes to ensure that we always deliver high-quality circuit boards to our customers.

1.Design Rules Check(DRC)

The Design Rule Check (DRC) is a critical phase in the PCB manufacturing process. Conducted by our skilled CAM engineers using GENESIS software, this thorough review of your production data occurs prior to PCB fabrication. The DRC helps detect potential issues early, preventing future complications and complaints. We ensure that the PCB design is feasible for manufacturing, and if any discrepancies are identified, we will reach out to the customer promptly.

2. Electrical Testing

Electrical testing (E-Test) of circuit boards occurs post-manufacturing. For small-scale and prototype PCB orders, we utilize a flying probe test, while batch production orders are assessed using E-Test fixtures. This process checks for short and open circuits, ensuring that the manufactured PCB nets match the design specifications. Any defective PCBs are discarded, and those identified as faulty within panels are distinctly marked.

3.AOI - Automated Optical Inspection

Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) is employed to examine the inner layers of multilayer PCBs. This method offers greater reliability and consistency compared to manual visual checks, ensuring the high dependability of multilayer circuit boards. AOI utilizes multiple light sources to illuminate the PCB, which is then scanned by high-definition cameras. This approach allows for thorough monitoring of all PCB areas. During the inspection of bare PCBs, AOI can identify issues such asViolations in line width,Violations in spacing,Excessive copper, Absent pads,Severed traces or pads,Breakage of holes

4. X-ray

When discussing X-ray technology with our customers, we emphasize its critical role in multilayer PCB manufacturing. This technology effectively detects and corrects layer alignment issues, ensuring precision during the pressing process. With X-ray imaging, we can identify and optimize drill holes, ensuring they match design specifications perfectly. By adjusting correction factors within specified tolerances, we achieve optimal drill reference points for each axis, ensuring accuracy down to the micrometer level. This attention to detail guarantees the highest quality in our PCB production.

5. Compliance with industry standards.

Compliance with industry standards. Our manufacturing and inspection comply IPC6012 1~3 Class ,IPC 6015 , IPC-A-600G IPCPEPFAG standard. XCEalso performs product quality control in strict accordance with the standards of “Technical Conditions for Metallised Single/Double Sided Printed Boards”, "Design and Use of Printed Circuits", "Quality Management System" and so on.
